The overall size of the box is 16.5 inches x 11.5 inches. It is 2.5 inches high when closed. The lid is hinged and opens to reveal the velour foam interior into which the coins can be placed. There are fifty openings on the bottom. There is also a hot stamped velveteen insert detailing the 50 states names.
